💡 When Should You Remap Your Robot Vacuum?
We recommend remapping after Base Station Relocation or Major Layout Changes:
1. Relocating the charging base station
2. Making significant home changes, including:
- Moving large furniture (sofas, bookshelves)
- Removing partitions or walls
- Adding bulky items (pianos, wardrobes)
Minor Changes vs. Real-Time Updates
No need to remap for single furniture moves: The robot automatically updates the map in real time during regular cleaning when adjusting to minor layout changes (e.g., moving a side table).

💡 Important Mapping Notes
- Main Map: To rebuild the main map, tap the "Remap" button directly on the existing map - deleting and starting over is not required.
- Secondary Maps: These cannot be remapped directly. To remap a new secondary map, please first delete the existing one, then add a new secondary map.
The following are the steps to remap:
1. Open the Narwal Freo App and navigate to the Device Homepage.
2. Tap the Mapping icon in the top-right corner.
3. Click "Map Management"
4. Click “Remap“
Compatible Models: Freo X Plus
💡 Important Mapping Notes for Freo X Plus:
Existing maps (both main and secondary) cannot be remapped directly. To create a new map:
- Delete the existing map first.
- Add a new map.
