How Can I Ensure Narwal Flow Works Effectively on Areas with Carpet? | Narwal Flow

The Narwal Flow uses carpet-friendly technology to clean your carpets without damage. 

Here's how it works:

• Precision Sensors: 
  Uses advanced ultrasound to detect carpets accurately—no mistaking tile gaps or hardwood floors for carpets.
• Auto-Raise Mop:
  Lifts the mop 12mm when crossing carpets to avoid wetting or staining them.
• Power Boost: 
  Automatically increases suction for deep cleaning on carpets without using the mop.

❗ Important Notes:

1. In default settings, the robot avoids carpets to prevent damage. To clean carpets, enable "Carpet Mode" in the app: Device Home > Map > Map Editing > Carpet > Clean the carpet  👉 Map Editing - Set Carpet
2. Best for carpets under 20mm thickness with pile height ≤0.7cm. Thick/dense carpets (e.g., rubber-backed) may not be detected accurately.
3. During carpet cleaning, the robot auto-boosts suction and slows movement to deeply remove embedded debris. This may increase cleaning duration versus hard floors.
4. If your carpet falls outside the specified range, disable Carpet Mode in the app to avoid operational issues.
