Note:
If your robot or dock was individually repaired recently, re-pairing is required as factory testing may have altered pairing data.
Step-by-Step Solution:
Reset the base station
Unplug the base station from power for 2 minutes, then reconnect it.
Reset your robot
① Open the robot's top cover
② Locate the RESET button (the small hole above the power button).
③ Use a thin, rigid object (like a SIM ejector tool or a pen tip) to press and hold the reset button inside the hole for 10 seconds to reset the robot, it will automatically power off and restart.
Retry pairing
① Robot: Wait until the robot Turns back on, then, short-press the the same button (mentioned above ↑ ) to enter pairing mode.
② Base Station: Press the Start/Stop and Return buttons on the base station simultaneously to enter pairing mode
(Therefore, if these two keys are accidentally touched, it may seemingly appear that the connection has been disconnected, but the problem is actually that the base station enters the pairing mode.
Simply long press these two buttons for two seconds will exit the mode.)
The following video demonstrates the re-pairing process by using the Freo Z Ultra as an example.
