There could be several reasons why the cleaning solution level appears not to decrease, but rest assured, it is likely being used as intended in most cases.
If you suspect the cleaning solution isn’t being consumed, follow these steps to check for usage:
-
Confirm that the Automatic detergent dispensing function is enabled.
👉 How Do I Enable or Disable the Auto Detergent Filling? -
If the automatic dispensing function is already active:
Mark the current level of the cleaning solution. After the robot runs for a period, check if the level has dropped. Use your phone’s flashlight to illuminate the bottle for clearer visibility of the mark. If the level remains hard to see even with strong light, compare the weight of the detergent bottle before and after mopping to determine if the base station is using the solution. -
Additionally, shake the dirty water tank to check for foam:
- Foam indicates the base station has used the cleaning solution.- No foam suggests the solution hasn’t been used.
-
If the solution still shows no signs of consumption after the above steps:
Use a sharp object to pierce the detergent bottle’s outlet. Invert the bottle, squeeze until solution flows out, then reinstall it in the base station and continue monitoring for changes.
⚠️ Note: Cleaning solution does not require large-volume addition. Excess solution won’t enhance cleaning performance but may cause over-foaming during mop washing, potentially leading to base station water overflow. If the base station fails to draw solution properly, the App will display errors like "Cleaning solution not detected“ even with a new detergent bottle.
